Honest Reflections
My walk with Jesus began over ten years ago, but if I'm being completely transparent, I haven't always been good at it. For years, I struggled, not just with reading the Bible, but with praying and seeking Him daily. I wanted to desire God's Word, but the reality was often a cycle of inconsistency.
During this time, I was also learning to build SaaS software using AI. I even launched an AI compliance SaaS that wasn't successful, but I learned so much along the way.
That's when it clicked, and I began to create tools with AI that would help me understand The Bible better and grow as a Christian.
The more I spoke with others at my church about what I'd built, the more I realized the gap and how beneficial these things could be to spread the Gospel and to bring others closer to Jesus. That's when I felt God tapping me on the shoulder to leverage technology to build Rooted.
If you told me 10 years ago that I'd be a Christian building software and tools to help Christians get closer to God, I would have said, "You've got the wrong person."

Joe Fatora, Founder
Expertise: Product Architecture, Engineering Leadership, & SaaS Growth
Joe brings 14 years of experience building and scaling technical products at the intersection of FinTech and SaaS. A three-time founder (Bonnie, Engauge AB, and Textter), he specializes in taking platforms from concept to global scale.
Joe's executive leadership includes serving as CPO at Arturo Labs and Head of Product at Pearl, where he defined product visions and led high-performing teams. With a deep technical foundation as a Tech Lead at Altitude Networks and Senior Software Engineer at Metal Pay, he now drives technical implementation of Rooted, ensuring the platform is built for performance and impact.

Josue is a strategic leader who excels at the intersection of technology and operational scale. He has spent over 15 years building and refining systems for Fintechs and global financial institutions, including co-founding an AI-driven compliance startup.
Whether managing global teams or scaling products to millions of users, Josue is focused on building technology that works. As Co-Founder of Rooted, he directs the operational strategy and technical frameworks necessary to deliver tailored, high-density content to users everywhere.
Our Core Beliefs
Rooted is built on the foundation of biblical truth. These five core beliefs guide everything we do and teach.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, the complete and final revelation of His will.
God (The Trinity)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and His atoning death on the cross.
Salvation (The Resurrection)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We believe that salvation (the forgiveness of sins and eternal life) is a free gift from God, received only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active and present work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, guides, and empowers believers. This includes the spiritual gifts and the power for healing, deliverance, and living a Godly life.

Truth in a Culture of Love
We live in a world that often elevates love at the expense of truth. At Rooted, we believe this is a false dichotomy. Love without truth is sentimentality; truth without love is harshness. We are convicted to present the full counsel of God, unwavering in truth, yet boundless in grace.

The Solid Foundation
What makes us different? We don't just use the Bible as content; we use it as our foundation. Every lesson, every AI interaction, and every resource is examined against the standard of Scripture. We are for the believer who is done with picking and choosing, who is ready to embrace the Bible in its entirety as the authoritative voice of God.

Rooted is supplemental, not a substitute. We're here to enhance your Bible study, not replace your time in God's Word. Open your Bible alongside our lessons. That's where transformation happens.
Not a Replacement for Community
We believe in the local church and the power of biblical fellowship. Rooted cannot replace the accountability, encouragement, and communion found in a church family. Use our platform to grow, but never at the expense of gathering with believers.
Not Infallible
Only Scripture is inerrant. While we rigorously align our content with biblical truth, we are fallible. We encourage you to test everything against God's Word like the Bereans (Acts 17:11).
Not Entertainment
We're not here to tickle ears or provide feel-good content. Our mission is truth, even when it's challenging. Expect to be convicted, stretched, and transformed by the faithful teaching of God's Word.
