Honest Reflections
My walk with Jesus began over ten years ago, but if I'm being completely transparent, I haven't always been good at it. For years, I struggled with reading the Bible, with praying, and with seeking Him daily. I wanted to desire God's Word, but the reality was often a cycle of inconsistency.
During this time, I was also learning to build software using AI. I even launched an AI compliance SaaS that was not successful, but I learned a tremendous amount along the way.
That's when it clicked. I began creating tools with AI that would help me understand the Bible better and grow as a Christian. The more I shared what I'd built with others at my church, the more I realized how much it could help the wider body of Christ.
That's when I felt God tapping me on the shoulder to build Rooted. If you told me ten years ago that I'd be a Christian building software to help people get closer to God, I would have said: “You've got the wrong person.”

FIVE NON-NEGOTIABLES.
These are not opinions. They are the theological foundations on which Rooted stands. Every feature, every lesson, every word is built on these truths.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the complete and final revelation of His will. Every lesson, every insight, every answer in Rooted is measured against Scripture.
God — The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. One God. Three persons. This is not a contradiction. It is a mystery that defines our faith.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death on the cross, and His bodily resurrection. He is the only way to the Father.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a free gift from God, received only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Not by works. Not by religion. By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active and present work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, guides, and empowers every believer. He is not a force. He is a Person. And He is present with every believer who calls on the name of Jesus.

WHAT ROOTED
IS NOT.
Rooted is powerful, but it is not everything. Here is what you need to know.
Not a Replacement for Scripture
Rooted enhances your Bible study. It does not replace your time in God's Word. Open your Bible alongside our lessons. That is where transformation happens.
Not a Replacement for Community
We believe deeply in the local church and biblical fellowship. Rooted cannot replace the accountability found in a church family. Use our tools to grow, never at the expense of gathering with believers.
Not Infallible
Only Scripture is inerrant. We rigorously align our content with biblical truth, but we are fallible. Test everything against God's Word like the Bereans in Acts 17:11.
Not Entertainment
We are not here to tickle ears or provide feel-good content. Our mission is truth, even when it is hard. Expect to be convicted, stretched, and transformed by the faithful teaching of God's Word.
